Note*   Peter Some researchers claim that there five children for Henry & Mary Kyler, separately an Arnold & Peter. There is ample suggestion that Arnold & Peter are the same person.(JRMort)
Commemorative Biographical Record of Central Pa (Centre, Clearfield, Jefferson & Clarion) by Beers, Page 911 says that Henry & Mary were parents of 4 children, wlth no mention of Peter.
Same source says that Arnold died in the Civil War and was buried at Winchester.
Civil war records show no Arnold Kyler, but do show Peter A. Kyler, “Died Company K, 84th Infantry Regiment Pennsylvania on 07 June 1862 in Winchester, VA”. Aldrich’s History of Clearfield Co, Page 148, confirms this also saying he was buried in National Cemetery, lot 10.
1850 Census for Girad Twp, Clearfield lists Peter A Kyler, age 14, and siblings, excluding Arnold.
1860 Census for Girad Twp, Clearfield list Arnold Kyler, age 25 and spouse.
Neither Census, 1850 or 1860, lists both a Peter and an Arnold. No similar enumeration is made in 1870 or 1880 for Peter or Arnold. Peter Arnold died in 1862 at Winchester, Va.
