Birth* 23 November 1827  Rachel Kephart was born on 23 November 1827; To determine the parents of Rachel, I could find no documented historical references. In reviewing Internet sources, Jonathan & Elizabeth were dominant, but no sources were identified.
My logic therefore was to review all Kepharts in the 1830 Census for Clearfield Co, 5 were found. Of the five, 3 were easy to eliminate. The remaining two were Jonathan & Daniel, brothers, both met the specifications identified in the 1830 Census. However, Daniel had a Rachel, b. 1840, therefore, I chose Jonathan & Elizabeth Goss.1 
  She was the daughter of Jonathan Kephart and Elizabeth Goss. 
Marriage* 23 March 1848  Rachel Kephart married Thomas Morgan on 23 March 1848 at Clearfield Co, Pa.2
