[S22] SS Death Index; The Social Security Administration Death Master File contains information on millions of deceased individuals with United States social security numbers whose deaths were reported to the Social Security Administration. Birth years for the individuals listed range from 1875 to the current year. Information in these records includes name, birth date, death date, and last known residence.

[S25] Census Record; The first Federal Population Census was taken in 1790, and has been taken every ten years since. From 1790-1840, only the head of household is listed and the number of household members in selected age groups. From 1850 to 1930, details are provided for all individuals in each household, such as names of family members, their ages at a certain point in time, their state or country of birth, their parent's birthplaces, year of immigration, marriage status and years of marriage, occupation(s), value of their home and personal belongings, the crops that they grew etc. Data from recent censuses are not available after 1930 because of a 72-year restriction on access to the Census.

[S26] WW II Draft; In October 1940, President Roosevelt had signed into law the first peacetime selective service draft in U.S. history, due to rising world conflicts. After the U.S. entered WWII a new selective service act required that all men between ages 18 and 65 register for the draft. Between November 1940 and October 1946, over 10 million American men were registered.
