The primary researcher of Johannes, and the Blaker line has been John W. (Bill) Kille. Only parts of the proofs are transcribed in this document. The main purpose of this document is to provide reference material that is portable for other researchers.

No 'Tangible' proof exists at this time for Placing Rebecca as the daughter of David other than 'she fits.'

1)Rebecca married Barnett Anderson and Barnett lived in the adjacent property to David.

2)Proof exists that Barnett and David traded services, goods and borrowed money. They were friends. The same was true for Barnett's Father, James Anderson.

3)James Anderson and David Blaker came to Cumberland Twp. about the same time. James's parents have as yet not been identified.

4)All the other Blakers currently residing in Cumberland Twp. can be eliminated as possible canidates for Rebecca's father.

5)Rebecca was born at the proper time to belong in this family.

6)The names of Rebecca and Barnett's children follow the same pattern as David Blakers family.

During the early to mid 1800's and in Cumberland Twp, research of the Blakers need to also consider the Anderson, Worthington, Morris, Long, Lantz, Inghram, Clutter and Clawsen lines. They lived on adjacent properties, worked together and intermarried. Many times a 'loophole' in any time period can be found in one of the other lines.
